Reports & inventory

Add a part and set a reorder point

Add a part with its cost, price, and quantity on hand, then set a reorder point so it flags as low stock before you run out. Two minutes to put a part on the shelf.

Putting a part on the shelf takes about two minutes.

  1. Open Inventory then Add part.
  2. Name it (and add a SKU if you use them).
  3. Add a description so anyone can tell which part it is.
  4. Enter the quantity on hand, your unit cost, and the price you charge. Cost and price mean the part carries its own margin, same as an RO line.
  5. Set the reorder point, the count where the part should flag as low stock.
  6. Save. The part joins your inventory with stock and margin tracked.

The reorder point is the whole trick. Set it to the count where you'd want a reminder, and the shelf watches itself.
