Every shop’s data is row-level isolated. Encryption at rest and in transit. PitCrew AI calls Anthropic’s Claude under its commercial API terms. Your prompts aren’t used to train Anthropic’s models. Export all your data as CSV any time. Cancel and delete permanently whenever you want.

How does the 30-day free trial work?
Every feature is unlocked during your trial. Appointments, win-back sequences, digital inspections, two-way SMS, the works. No credit card required to start. The only soft limit is 100 outbound SMS sends so you can test the inbox without burning through carrier costs. Pick a plan when you decide to keep going.
Are there setup fees or contracts?
No and no. Every plan is month-to-month (or annual if you want to save 20%). No setup fees, no cancellation fees, no "talk to sales" calls. You sign up online, connect Stripe, and start. Live in under 10 minutes on Starter and Growth.
Do I have to use your payment processor?
You connect your own Stripe account. Takes about four minutes. Customers pay invoices with a tap, the money goes straight to your bank, and Pitlane takes 0% platform fee on payments. You only pay your subscription.
What if I need to change plans?
Upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period so you're never surprised.
How does Pitlane compare to Mitchell1, Shopware, or Tekmetric pricing?
Those are shop management systems for repair orders, labor, and parts. They typically run $300–$500+ per month with setup fees. Pitlane is $97 to $297. RO writing, mid-job authorization, payments, and the full customer-side stack (reviews, DVIs, win-backs, PitCrew AI) are all native. Pitlane runs alongside Mitchell1, Tekmetric, Shopware, or Shopmonkey today. Parts ordering and OEM labor times by VIN are the two items we're building before most shops can drop their old system entirely.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
One-click CSV export from Settings → Account at any time, even before canceling. Cancel with one click, access continues through the end of your billing period, and you can permanently delete your data when you're done. No hostage situation.
Is there a discount for multiple shops or agencies?
If you run multiple locations or manage shops for clients, email support@usepitlane.com and we'll sort out pricing for the group. There's no off-the-shelf agency tier yet. We handle multi-shop setups case by case, and a consolidated multi-location plan with shared billing and reporting is on the roadmap.
Can I pay annually and save?
Yes. Annual billing is 20% off. Starter drops from $97 to $78/month effective, Growth from $197 to $158, Pro from $297 to $238. It's billed upfront for the year. You can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal, but fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires it (see the Terms).
Is the combined RO + inspection + estimate print packet included on every plan?
Yes. The print packet works on every plan. Starter, Growth, and Pro. It bundles the RO header, line items, totals, signature line, every linked digital inspection (with photos and pass/attention/fail), and every linked estimate onto one browser-native PDF. No add-on subscription, no per-print cost.
Do all plans include the linked workflow (RO ↔ Inspection ↔ Estimate)?
Yes. The bidirectional linking model is core to how Pitlane organizes a vehicle's service history. Every plan gets it. Digital inspections themselves are Growth+; if you're on Starter you can still link estimates to ROs, you just don't have inspections to link yet.
Is the help center available on the free trial?
Yes. Every account has access to /help with the full library of step-by-step setup guides and the interactive spotlight tours. We don't gate onboarding material behind a paid plan; the goal is to get you to value as fast as possible during the trial so you can decide whether to keep going with confidence.
