Built so the docs don't drift from the product.

Guide content lives in MDX in the repo (content/guides/*.mdx). New guides drop in as one file with frontmatter + numbered Step components. The library auto-discovers them — no separate CMS, no CDN, no "I shipped a feature but the docs are six weeks behind."

Read the static guide for the screenshots, or click Run this guide in the app for the live overlay that walks you to the exact button.

Questions about help center.

Is there a real human I can talk to for help?

Yes. Open Get Help in the sidebar to file a support ticket — most replies land within a business hour. We don't schedule onboarding calls because the Help center handles 95% of what an onboarding rep would walk you through, faster. Reach for the ticket when the guides genuinely don't cover what you're hitting.

Can I rerun a tour after I've finished it?

Yes — help-center tours don't write to your member record on completion, so they're freely replayable. Useful when you're training a new service writer or want to refresh on a feature you haven't touched in months.

What's the difference between the welcome tour and the spotlight tours?

Welcome = 3 steps, fires once on first /dashboard load, hands you to /help. Spotlight tours = per-feature live overlays that fire from /help when you click Run this guide in the app. The welcome's job is to point you at the deeper material; the spotlights are the deeper material.

Are the guides searchable?

Not yet inside the app — the library at /help groups them by category and you skim the list. Search across guides is on the roadmap; if it'd matter for your shop, file a note in /feedback so it ranks above other items.

Will the guides stay current as Pitlane ships new features?

Guide content lives in the same git repository as the code, so adding a new feature without updating the guide breaks the same code review. We update guides in the same PR as the feature change. The library auto-picks up new files — no separate docs deploy.
