What card processing costs, and when you get paid
Pitlane adds 0% on top of card payments. You pay Stripe's standard 2.9% plus 30 cents, the money goes straight to your own bank, and Pitlane never sits in the middle.
The money model is deliberately boring, which is the point.
What you pay
- Stripe's standard rate: 2.9% plus 30 cents per card charge. That's Stripe's fee, the same one you'd pay using Stripe directly.
- Pitlane's platform fee: 0%. We don't add anything on top of card payments, and we never touch the funds.
Where the money goes
Because you connect your own Stripe account, charges settle to your Stripe balance and pay out to your bank on your Stripe payout schedule. Pitlane isn't a middleman holding your money. If you have a question about a specific payout, it's in your Stripe dashboard.
Why direct beats "we process it for you"
Some tools sit between you and the processor as the merchant of record, which usually means a higher blended rate and slower access to your own revenue. Pitlane connects you straight to Stripe instead. Your rate is Stripe's rate, and your payouts are yours.
