Record a cash, check, or other payment
Not every job gets paid by card. Record cash, a check, or another method on the repair order in two taps. No Stripe connection needed for these.
Plenty of customers still pay cash or write a check. Recording it takes two taps and doesn't need any card setup.
- Open the RO and click Take payment. The button sits at the top of the Line Items section. The outstanding balance is pre-filled.
- Pick the method. Cash, Check, or Other. These three record a payment you took at the counter.
- Confirm the amount and record it. Add a note if you want. The RO updates and the balance clears.
Cash, check, and other work whether or not Stripe is connected. To text a card link instead, connect your Stripe account first, then use take payment by text.
