Take opening day, your guided first run
Opening day runs your shop's first real car all the way through in about ten minutes: set your details, add the car on your lift, write it up, get the yes by text, take the payment, and turn on the follow-up.
When you sign up, your shop opens empty. Opening day fills it by taking your first real car all the way through, one step at a time. About ten minutes, and every step ends with something real you actually did.
Start it
On the dashboard, tap Start opening day on the welcome screen, or open it from the "While the shop fills up" card. Come back later and you land on the chapter map, so you pick up where you left off.
The seven steps
- Make it yours. Confirm your shop name, set your sales tax rate once, and paste your Google review link in Settings then Shop.
- First customer. Add the car on your lift from Contacts then New, or bring your whole list in from Settings then Import.
- First work order. Pick that customer, type the concern, and tap Create Repair Order. Then Suggest from concern drafts the lines.
- The yes. Pitlane texts you the approval your customer would get. Open the link, approve the lines, and watch each one flip to Authorized with a timestamp.
- Money in. Tap Take payment. Cash and check are one tap, no card setup needed.
- Turn on the machine. Confirm your review link, look over your Grow tools, and see where reviews land.
- What fills in. A look at Reports and your Today dashboard, which get richer with every ticket.
Progress is saved against your shop, not the browser, so it survives a refresh or a new device.
