How Pitlane keeps your shop's data private
Row-level isolation per shop, encryption at rest and in transit, and AI that doesn't train on your data. The honest list of how your customer data is protected.
Here's the honest list. No hand-waving.
Your data is isolated per shop
Tenant-owned data runs through a database layer that scopes queries to your shop. If a handler ever forgot to filter by shop, the layer adds the filter anyway. Isolation doesn't rest on a single line of code remembering to do it.
Encrypted at rest and in transit
The database encrypts data at rest. All web traffic is HTTPS-only and forced to modern TLS. Your Twilio texting credentials are encrypted before they're stored.
Auth you don't have to trust us with
Pitlane never stores your password. Sign-in is delegated to a dedicated auth provider that stores credentials with industry-standard hashing. You can sign in with email and password or with Google, and you can add two-factor sign-in.
AI that doesn't train on your data
PitCrew AI calls Anthropic's API. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, the prompts and completions Pitlane sends aren't used to train Anthropic's models. Your customers, your RO notes, and your review-reply drafts don't become anyone's training set.
The infrastructure
Pitlane runs on SOC 2-aligned infrastructure. We don't sell your data and don't share it with advertisers.
