Reviews & follow-up
Send a review request (and let the automatic one run)
Ask a customer for a Google review, bundled with a recap of what you did and what's next. Every completed job also triggers an automatic ask about two hours after pickup.
You can send a review request by hand off any completed job, and Pitlane also fires one automatically after every job.
The automatic ask
Every completed job triggers a review request about two hours after pickup: by email on every plan, and by text on Growth and up. Every customer gets your Google review link. Anyone who reports a problem also gets a private feedback form that lands in your inbox, so you can fix it before it becomes a public one-star.
Send one by hand
- Open a completed RO. Find one in Service Records then Completed. Fresher jobs get more reviews.
- Fill in the Service Summary Email. Below the line items: What We Did and What We Recommend Next. Write them so they sound like you. The recommend-next box is the part customers actually read.
- Click Send Summary & Review Request. The customer gets one email: your shop name, the summary, the next recommended visit, and a Leave a review button.
- Watch it land in Reviews. Ratings show up on the Reviews page within a minute of the customer hitting submit. Reply right from there. The breakdown card shows your star distribution at a glance.
You need your Google review link saved for any of this to route correctly.
