Run a digital inspection customers approve item by item
Pass, attention, or fail on each item, with photos. The customer sees exactly what you found and approves work item by item. Declined items flow into automated recovery.
Digital vehicle inspections are on Growth and up. The point is that the customer sees what you see.
- Start an inspection. From the job, or from Inspections then New. Pick the vehicle. A tech can launch it straight from their Bay work-card.
- Mark each item pass, attention, or fail. Add a photo where it helps. A cracked serpentine belt in a photo does more than a checkbox.
- Send it to the customer. They get a link to a page that lays out every item, the photos, and the recommended work. They approve item by item.
- Approved items flow to the RO. Declined items get remembered. Whatever they put off is logged against the vehicle, so it feeds declined-work recovery later instead of vanishing.
Why item-by-item matters
